If you didn't know by now, I kind of spray paint everything as my quick decor fix. But recently I dreamed up a new idea for my spray painting ways.
These recycled bottles have been re-styled to be used as centerpieces, vases or gifts. Today we are doing IZZE bottles, but don't forget to check out my similar jar project to see more colors, sizes and ideas.
This project is so simple.
1. Remove labels from bottles. ( You can soak them in hot water and dish soap for extra help)
2. Dry and clean
3. Pick your spray paint choices: Seen above is Satin Ivory.
4. Spray paint box carrier too!
You get the idea...
Some spray painting tips... Cover area with newspaper or drop cloth first. Wear a mask or be careful not to inhale fumes. Don't spray into the wind!!! Wait for your first layer to dry and stick the bottle on your finger to get a good coat around the bottom sides.
And the flowers seen above are Ranunculus. (one of my favorites!)

Love this! I'm going to have to try it this weekend!
Did you use spray paint on the container as well? Super cute idea! I am going to use it for my friend's bridal shower as the guest favors. :)
Yes even the container is spray painted!
just did this tonight but the spray paint is already chipped and cracking in places! how do I prevent this? such a fun idea!
What a fabulous and fun idea! Love it!
I pinned this on pinterest today without realizing that they were actually spray painted bottles and not milk glass! So beautiful! So simple yet striking!
Becky, spray paint one coat and completely let it dry before you spray paint a second coat. There is also a glaze you could put on it from a craft shop... but I think if you do the coats solidly you'll be ok!
This is really great. I think I'm going to try it out for my wedding centrepieces - it's such a simple but beautiful idea!
super cute idea, I am going to do these for my homemade lotion I make for gift giving. . thanks for sharing. . .
Found these at cozysocksandpolkadots.blogspot, and I think they are gorgeous. Nice job.
Love this! Can I borrow the picture to put in my Norwegian blog? Will of course link back to you and write that this is your idea :)

no problem Ann Merete.
Thanks! :) Will post it tomorrow! Great DIY!
I have tried spray painting several
items, glasses, bottles, plates, and the paint starts to crinkle. I have used a primer, thin layers, and thicker layers. I thought the paint was old, or that I did not shake enough, but 3 different cans are doing the same thing. Is there a trick to making the paint look smooth?
If you spray lightly in phases and let it completely dry before adding each layer that really makes a difference. And don't spray too close either (makes creases and drips) Also, the more use it will wear, you can also cover with a clear top coat from a craft store to seal it in better. This is really just a cheap quick way to do a craft, it's not a long-lasting project.
Amazing idea! Thanks.
Love the pink and white, so cute!
LOve, Love this! On my Spring Break to do list! Sooo pretty. Shared a pin/link here:

Nice blog! Thanks for sharing this amazing topic!
Wow! I love your color design.
Did you spray paint the inside or outside of the bottle?
These are very adorable with the spray painted box as well. If you spray glass with "frosted glass" from rust-oleum, you wont have any difficulties with the paint chipping or cracking, ever! it only takes 10 minutes for the frosted glass to dry before you put on your colored spray paint of choice.
are you the same person who post in the china website Heap Sugar Network? is this Mrs Liangok? This is in that website im wondering who is the original person who did this?
